Dixie Marketing and Playground Manufacturing is a manufacturer of quality playground equipment. Dixie Playground was started in 1978 by Mark Summerford as a small family business, in a rolling agricultural valley of North Central Alabama, during this time high-quality commercial and residential playground equipment was non-existent.

Over the years, our capabilities have continued to expand to make us a leader in the playground manufacturing market in the south-east and earned the loyalty and trust of you, our valued customer. At Dixie Playground we like to think of ourselves as a pioneer in the business. We have been highly involved in promoting and maintaining national safety standards. We are an Organizational Member of ASTM International, our member number is 1374665. We have been ASTM certified and all our products meet or excide U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (U.S. CPSC) requirements.
